Introductory to Mastering Your Machine Club.
Calling all new owners of a Husqvarna Viking Designer EPIC 2, Designer EPIC, Designer Ruby 90, Designer Sapphire 85, or Designer Brilliance 80 machine – this club is for you! We want to keep the world sewing and foster the joy that comes from meeting with like-minded people in a supportive environment to really use our machines. We will explore the many features within our Husqvarna Viking machines and in class create projects designed to teach us more about these wonderful machines. Some of the projects may take more than one month to complete as there are many aspects of your machine we will use when making our projects. Some of the projects may require the use of optional accessories and feet or the purchase of a design (s) from the mySewnet Library.

This Club meets every month starting in February 2025 for 10 sessions on the 1st Friday of the month from 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 P.M. Cost will be $240.00 or if someone wants to sign up for a single project the cost would be $75.00 per class session. Friday class: Feb 7, Mar 4, Apr 5, May 2, Jun 6, Jul 11, Aug 1, Sep 5, Oct 3, Nov 7.
Christmas in July Hanging Towel
(Finished size is approx. 18” tall x 10” wide)
In our class this month (July) we will continue to explore and review the top features within our amazing Husqvarna Viking sewing and embroidery machine. Our Christmas in July project is a hanging towel using holiday fabric. This project gives us an opportunity to check things out on the sewing side of our machine. We will have the opportunity to sew ¼” seams, topstitch along the edges of the trims and make a buttonhole. Stitch one of these hanging towels out in class and you will want to make more in other fabric combinations for every special occasion and everyone on your gift list!

| Instructor Bio: | Kathy Smith Kathy began teaching machine embroidery classes part time at Patty's Sewing Center in 2012. Her quest for knowledge of all things sewing and embroidery began many years earlier when she purchased her first Husqvarna Viking sewing and embroidery machine. Once Kathy retired from her second career in 2016, she was able to devote more time to teaching a variety of classes at Patty's. She enjoys teaching and sharing her passion for machine embroidery with others. Kathy completed the Jenny Haskins Online Academy of Accredited Tutors in 2011. |
