Introductory to Mastering Your Machine Club.
This Club meets every month starting in February 2025 for 10 sessions on the 1st Friday of the month from 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 P.M. Cost will be $240.00 or if someone wants to sign up for a single project the cost would be $75.00 per class session. Friday class: Feb 7, Mar 4, Apr 5, May 2, Jun 6, Jul 11, Aug 1, Sep 5, Oct 3, Nov 7.
Calling all new owners of a Husqvarna Viking Designer EPIC 2, Designer EPIC, Designer Ruby 90, Designer Sapphire 85, or Designer Brilliance 80 machine – this club is for you! We want to keep the world sewing and foster the joy that comes from meeting with like-minded people in a supportive environment to really use our machines. We will explore the many features within our Husqvarna Viking machines and in class create projects designed to teach us more about these wonderful machines. Some of the projects may take more than one month to complete as there are many aspects of your machine we will use when making our projects. Some of the projects may require the use of optional accessories and feet or the purchase of a design (s) from the mySewnet Library.

Insert for the Front Cover of a Binder
Happy New Year! It is only fitting that the first project of the New Year will be to create your own insert for the front cover of a binder. Then you can use your customized binder to store all of your Intro to Mastering Your Machine Club handouts and sample stitch outs in the coming months. The contents of the binder will document your journey as you explore and use the features within your amazing, delightfully intuitive, and uniquely capable sewing and embroidery machine. In this three-hour class we will learn how to download two of the free Embroidery designs from the mySewnet Library, create folders within your machine to store the designs you create in our Club and create a lovely design for the front cover of the binder. The built in Embroidery Fonts will also be used. We will then stitch out the embroidery design you have created. The insert for the cover for the sample was stitched out on white felt and will slip inside the clear cover on a binder.

| Instructor Bio: | Kathy Smith Kathy began teaching machine embroidery classes part time at Patty's Sewing Center in 2012. Her quest for knowledge of all things sewing and embroidery began many years earlier when she purchased her first Husqvarna Viking sewing and embroidery machine. Once Kathy retired from her second career in 2016, she was able to devote more time to teaching a variety of classes at Patty's. She enjoys teaching and sharing her passion for machine embroidery with others. Kathy completed the Jenny Haskins Online Academy of Accredited Tutors in 2011. |
