Mastering Your Machine Club. This club will be held every month on 2nd Saturday (except Feb - it will be 3rd Sat) and the 1st Tuesday from 10:00 -1:00.
This class will be for EPIC 2, EPIC 1, Designer Ruby 90, Designer Sapphire 85 or Designer Brilliance 80 machine owners.
This Club meets every month starting in February 2023 for 10 sessions. Cost will be $240.00 or if someone wants to sign up for a single project the cost would be $75.00 per class session. Tuesday class: Feb 6, Mar 5, Apr 2, May 7, Jun 4, Aug 6, Sep 3, Oct 1, Nov 5
Saturday class: Feb 17 (Feb only- afterwards 2nd Sat of the month), Mar 9, Apr 13, May 11, Jun 8, Aug 10, Sep 14, Oct 12, Nov 9
Limit: 8 students per class
Calling all Husqvarna Viking Designer EPIC 2, Designer EPIC, Designer Ruby 90, Designer Sapphire 85, and Designer Brilliance 80 machine owners – this club is for you! We want to keep the world sewing and foster the joy that comes from meeting with like-minded people in a supportive environment to really use our machines. We will continue to explore the many features within our Husqvarna Viking machines and in class create projects designed to teach us more about these wonderful machines. Some of the projects may take more than one month to complete as there are many aspects of your machine we will use when making our projects. Some of the projects may require the use of optional accessories and feet or the purchase of a design (s) from the mySewnet Library.

GO! Reindeer Dance Table Topper or Tree Skirt

In our combined Jul/Aug class held in August we will continue to explore and review the top features within our amazing Husqvarna Viking sewing and embroidery machine. We will use the AccuQuilt GO cutter and two holiday dies to create the GO! Reindeer Dance Table Topper or Tree Skirt. The free embroidery designs that come with the dies will be used to add decorative stitching around the edges of the applique’s shapes. We will use the Design Placement and the Design Positioning features to precisely place the applique embroideries and position a built-in small polka dot design on the trees. We will also make Continuous bias binding for our project using a square of fabric – a neat trick to avoid joining individual strips of bias binding.

| Instructor Bio: | Kathy Smith Kathy began teaching machine embroidery classes part time at Patty's Sewing Center in 2012. Her quest for knowledge of all things sewing and embroidery began many years earlier when she purchased her first Husqvarna Viking sewing and embroidery machine. Once Kathy retired from her second career in 2016, she was able to devote more time to teaching a variety of classes at Patty's. She enjoys teaching and sharing her passion for machine embroidery with others. Kathy completed the Jenny Haskins Online Academy of Accredited Tutors in 2011. |
